Genre is what type a Film a Game or pretty much anything is e.g. Horror, Fantasy and Sport. Genre is important in anything because if your into a particular genre you can buy something based on that genre like a film or game.Genre is also important because if you buy a film based on a particular genre like horror your going to want it to stay on that genre throughout the film. Genre also important because the poster for the film or game has to link to the genre.

Forza Motorsport 6 is a game in the Racing genre.

My product fits the genre really well and it also fits into all the codes and convection's because there is cars,racetracks there is also a speed tracker which tells you how many miles per hour your going and what gear your on. It also tells you your current place and the lap your on. There's also a cover car which is the 2017 Ford GT. There's also an engine sound when you drive there is also an option to paint design and tune your car. The game doesn't really fit into any other genres because it's just racing.
